2024-2025 Safe and Inclusive School Planlearning triangle

Our school is committed to providing all students with a safe, caring, and inclusive learning environment free from bullying and harassment that promotes respect, acceptance, and empathy.

Staff, students, parents and caregivers, and community partners will work together as a team to help make our school safe and welcoming for everyone.

The Safe and Inclusive School Plan highlights some of the key actions that our school community will put in place as part of our bullying prevention and intervention efforts.

Key Priorities and Goals

This year we are focusing on supporting and honouring the diversity of experiences and perspectives within our school community.

We are doing this to/because we feel it’s important for all members of our school community feel that they have a voice in the development of a more inclusive school community where all students feel safe, valued, respected and heard.

Key Actions or Strategies

  • 1. Utilizing school bulletin boards and walls to promote student identities, school activities and clubs and teams.
  • 2. Promoting student and staff mental health through weekly activities led by the wellness club.
  • 3. Celebrating school community identities through multicultural days.
