Thames Valley to host early literacy info night for Indigenous families
Thames Valley District School Board is pleased to invite parents and caregivers of students with First Nations, Métis and/or Inuit ancestry to join an information session on Understanding How Children Learn to Read on Wednesday, June 5, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Woodland Heights PS.
Presented by the First Nations, Métis and Inuit Education team at Thames Valley in collaboration with our Early Years Literacy team, the information session will share helpful insights on the ways young children learn to read and how you can best support your child’s literacy journey.
Dinner will be provided and child care is available.
